Who is the event open to? This is a public event which is open to anyone and you don't have to book but it lets us make a plan for the day out and confirm meeting details.
Cost: FREE to enter, Food and drink stalls available in the Park, some may be cash only so be prepared
Date & times: Sunday 11th May 2025, meet up 12.00noon and stay for as long as you wish.
Where? Battery Park, Eldon Street Greenock
Host: We will confirm your host nearer the date!
Meeting point: At the small swing park nearest to Cardwell Bay
Transport:
Nearest bus stop to the venue, Eldon Street, right at Battery Park. Nearest railway station Fort Matilda
Car parking is extremely limited so best to avoid taking a car if possible
We can provide maps and a link to travel info if needed.
Access:
Venue is fully accessible at street level
There is a disabled toilet suitable for wheelchair use
There are benches and beer tents with seating
A lot of walking is involved to move around the park which can get heavily congested
